How does the new AI Timer work?
Our updated script timing tool uses a more precise AI-based model. It does not just count symbols, digits or punctuation. It evaluates the text from the perspective of how it will actually be spoken. The model was calibrated on real voice over tests and real production timings.
The timing estimate is then used to calculate the voice over price. For convenience, larger scripts receive a lower pricing coefficient. In practical terms: the larger the script, the lower the price growth.

The voice over price is based on the estimated script timing. You can shorten or expand the script until you reach the timing and budget you need. By default, the estimate assumes an informational read at a medium pace. The calculator also returns the character count of your text.
The final price depends on the base rate and the script timing.
If the script cannot be edited, you can simply choose another voice actor with a lower base rate. That lowers the final voice over price proportionally while keeping the script unchanged.
